The Vögele Kultur Zentrum Museum is currently featuring Smartstones as part of an exhibit entitled "Society 4.0: How Online Living Changes Society." An important part of the exhibit, which is running from the November 22nd, 2015 to March 20th, 2016, is communication, and how it has changed due to new technology.
According to Corina Forrer, Registrar of the Museum, "The exhibition will show the multifaceted possibilities and advantages of digital media and focus on human needs in this social change. Presenting art works, installations and objects from daily life, we want to show how digital media influences us as individuals and as part of the community."
Each year Vögele Kultur Zentrum features two exhibitions that pick up topics of cultural and social relevance, and highlights these contemporary phenomenas from different perspectives. The exhibition program this year will be accompanied by interdisciplinary events, a bulletin and a broad education program for students.
Since 1998 the non-profit foundation of Charles and Agnes Vögele has been the trusteeship of the Vögele Kultur Zentrum.
